How can you go wrong with bacon and cream cheese. I have tried this recipe with different flavors of cream cheese but my favorite is the pineapple, it goes great with bacon - sweet and salty.
1/2 loaf sandwich bread
8 oz PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Pineapple, softened
2 tsp Herbs De Provence
1 lb bacon, cut in half crosswise
1. Preheat oven to 375º
2. Blend the cream cheese, Herbs de Provence, and pepper to taste
3. Remove the crust from the bread and spread cream cheese mixture evenly on slices; cut each slice into 3 strips.
4. Roll up each strip and wrap with bacon; secure with a toothpick
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes; drain on paper towels a few minutes and serve
Tip: you can use any flavored cream cheese or just plain is delicious too
